The 9th Chinese Zodiac Sign is Monkey. The Monkey in this drawing is an endangered species called Golden Hair Monkey (金丝猴，Rhinopithecus roxellana)， native to Central and SW China. This Monkey has similar hair color as Sun Wukong (孙悟空), the main character in Journey to the West (西游记).
